“Crying Wolf”

March 11, 2020March 21, 2020 ~ Jai Lynn ~ 1 Comment

Neither here,
nor there.
You always act
like you don’t care.

Disappearing
for days on end.
What kind of message
does that send?

The truth
is in your eyes.
Mirrors to show
all the lies.

Too much of
a good thing
doesn’t make
a righteous king.

Rue the day
true trouble will come,
cause nobody
to you will run.

Jai Lynn

Name's Jai Lynn, Jai like blue jay and Lynn which rhymes with sin. Speaking of sins, life is too short to not do what you're passionate about. So, I'm going to write. Welcome to my domain of poetry, short fiction, and (if you look for it) a little magic too.
